Germany and the Rhine River

We spent 4 days along the Rhine River in St. Goar and Bacharach, both small villages on the river. Germany and the Rhine are dotted with beautiful castles... the river remains a main thoroughfare for commerce. Castles dot the shoreline..... many guard the river and in the past required payment (tax) to pass.

Eurail is a fast and efficient way to tour Europe. Trains are good quality and always on time. Waiting for a connection to Belguim.
