Belguim

Anne-Valerie (the exchange student that we hosted in 1989) and her husband Jean-Francois live in a quiet farm setting just minutes from her parents Nadine and Pierre-Andre. They have 5-year old twins, Clara and Clement. We have visited them twice before and also attended Anne-Valerie's wedding in Belgium in 1999. They are a great family and wonderful hosts!
Rubbing the monkey's head located in the Mons central square (back to front ,3 times with your
left hand) brings good luck and is a "must do"!














Food and drink in Belgium is wonderful!!... no shortage of cheeses, chocolate and great wines!! We thoroughly enjoyed "eating our way through Europe".
