Pamela and IV became our friends when we met them aboard Precious Metal in La Cruz, Mexico last winter. They were also on the Baja Ha Ha. Pamela is a boat captain and ran charters in British Columbia and Alaska for years. We have kept in touch via email and planned to visit them on our way north. They were gracious hosts.....loaned us their car, had us for dinner (salmon lasagna to die for) and gave us wonderful advice of the best places to anchor and see while in Alaska. IV formerly owned and managed the Quarterdeck Marina here in Port Hardy and is now a real estate developer. They are great storytellers. They'll be back in the Sea of Cortez in November and we plan on seeing them.
