Four Days in Neah Bay!

We arrived in Neah Bay last Saturday. Originally, we were hoping to leave the next morning but weather changed our plans. So...for the last 4 days we have been in the Big Salmon Resort Marina waiting out the storms coming from both north and south. We are on the Makah Indian Reservation. Fisherman are everywhere, and we watch two sea lions daily do there own fishing right near our boat. Our days have been filled with playing cards, watching movies, walking around town and visiting the Makah Museum. Finally, tomorrow the 21st we will round Cape Flattery and venture about 60 miles out in the Pacific and make a straight run to San Francisco which we think will take about 5 - 6 days. Next report: The Golden Gate Bridge.....

Glad to find out you are okay and did not get out on the sea before the storms hit.

We have fixed the refrigeration and plan to just sail with the over-sized main and the sail maker will come to Newport Oregon to see it and hopefully fix it. Leaving Monday the 26th.

Fair winds and calm seas.
