Early afternoon under the Golden Gate.... what a sight!!

We found a nice slip in a new Sausalito marina. Just a ferry ride away from San Francisco. Jim Gentry flew back to Lewiston the following day. Rosie and I spent the next couple of days with Arne and Judy Jorgensen, seeing the sights, enjoying the cuisine and relaxing in the warm California sunshine.

Early on September 6th, Rosie and I pulled out of Sausalito heading for Half Moon Bay, down the coast about 20 miles. We saw a beautiful sunrise behind the Golden Gate and almost ran into a sleeping whale as well........

We will stay for a couple of days and then contine south to Santa Cruz and Monterey.
