Christmas Cruising in the San Juans

After several weeks on dry land it was time to cast off on Eager Dreamer. The weather forecast looked good for the coming week so we made our escape on December 6th.

It seemed appropriate to add a few Christmas decorations.... with seasonal tunes piped into the cockpit.... HoHoHo (or is it now politically correct to only use HaHaHa)



The weather was cool (highs in the low 30's) but with the wood and diesel stoves fired up, anchorages were quite comfortable. Rosie likes a headlamp for knitting aboard at night...

The cloud free days made for some beautiful sunsets. Couldn't have picked a better week!!

Mt. Baker was visable from most locations in the islands...
