Venice, Italy

Venice was interesting but very crowded with tourists (you know those tourists!). Our only rain during our travels arrived here. The canals are always full of traffic.... which is actually causing erosion of some of the building foundations. Our hotel was on a back street overlooking a fairly quite canal. We found Venice very expensive... but the wine and pasta were great..
