We took the dinghy from Garden Bay, Pender Harbour over to Madiera Marina to shop and came upon a Wooden Boat Building Festival. There were 5 teams of four people each that raced to build a boat in 3 hours with materials provided. At the end they raced their newly made boats. Great community fundraiser event.
