The Strait of Georgia

We left Clam Bay early to enter Porlier Pass at slack tide, otherwise it can be dangerous because of "boiling currents". Once through, we were heading North, crossing the Strait of Georgia. The strait is 150 miles long and lies between Vancouver Island and Mainland British Columbia. It was a long, wild ride with rolling seas. The song, "Surfin USA ran through Rosie's head all day.......
